The Medicimage Foundation Competition 2012/13
We are delighted to announce details of a competition for medical students to demonstrate the best use of images in a presentation relevant to their studies with total prize money of $2,000 being divided as follows:
- 1st prize - $1,000
- 2nd prize - $650
- 3rd prize - $350
The competition is to mark the launch of the Foundation in collaboration with the Soba University Hospital in Khartoum, Sudan.
The judges will be Mr Henry Annan, consultant gynaecologist and obstetrician and a member of the Foundation’s advisory board and Mr Stewart Goldstein, photographer and inspiration behind the creation of the Foundation.
The competition is open to students currently enrolled in a state-run or private medical school anywhere in the world.
Entries can be submitted in most formats (text and images). These should be sent to competition@medicimagefoundation.org by 31 March 2012. Each entry must clearly identify details of the entrant, including their medical school and email address.
The winners will be notified by 30 June 2012 and the winning entries, together with the judges’ comments will be published later on the Foundation website.
