My Account Information
On the My Account pages you can:
- Review previously downloaded images
- Update your account profile
- Log out of your account (so that you may log on as a different user)
You must be registered and logged in to access the My Account page. If you have not yet logged in at the time you click My Account, you will be prompted to do so. After you login, you will arrive at the My Account page. If you haven't set up an account with us, click "create account" from the log inscreen.
By Clicking "Change Profile" you may:
- Edit your address details
- Change your password & email account
- You cannot change your username
Light boxes
What is a light box?
The light box is the area where you can save images to review or download at a later stage. Only registered and logged-in users can use a light box. You do not need to use light boxes to download images. The main use of the light box is for saving images that you are interested in but not quite sure whether to download until you have viewed further imagery.
Adding images to a light box
Click add to light box beneath the appropriate image(s) on the Search Results or Image Detail pages.
From the Light box page you can:
- view all images stored in a light box
- delete items from a light box by clicking "Remove" under the appropriate image(s)
- download all images contained in the light box
You must be registered and logged in to access the light box. If you haven't set up an account with us you can join or apply on the Membership page.

Image Usage
All downloadable content on The Medicimage Foundation website are free to download, subject to membership fees. Content downloaded from the library is solely for education, training and research purposes. Commercial use of library content is prohibited and is a breach of the terms of the membership.
Watermark
You will notice that all images contain watermarks. These watermarks are there to help protect from unauthorized copying and downloading of the image. All fully downloaded images will not contain any watermarks. These watermarks will not be visible once downloaded onto your hard drive.
Forgotten Log in Details
If you have forgotten either your password or user name, visit the Member’s log in page where you will find a link for forgotten password. After filling in the form with the email address that you originally registered with, an email containing your log indetails will emailed over to you.
